A pooper scooper service removes dog feces from residential outdoor spaces. Oak City Pooper Scoopers offers scheduled recurring dog waste removal for households in Raleigh, Knightdale, and Wendell, North Carolina, subject to route availability.
Our recurring cleanup includes searching accessible yard areas for visible dog waste, collecting and bagging it, and hauling the collected waste away. The base price covers one or two dogs in a standard yard. Yard size, accessibility, and unusual buildup may affect the final quote.
We take the collected and bagged dog waste with us. Waste haul-away is included in Oak City Pooper Scoopers' advertised cleanup price; there is no separate haul-away fee.
Our residential cleanup plans include weekly, biweekly (every other week), and monthly visits. We offer weekly, every-other-week (biweekly), and monthly cleanup. Twice-recurring service is not currently offered.
Yes. One-time dog waste cleanup starts at $59 for up to ¼ acre of yard area with light-to-moderate buildup. Each additional ¼ acre or portion thereof adds $15. Heavy waste buildup may require an additional charge quoted before service.
Tell us which outdoor areas your dogs use when requesting a quote. We can review accessible front, back, and side yards; the quoted scope depends on the property and safe exterior access. We do not enter a home to reach a yard.
Tell us about gravel, mulch, garden beds, or other surfaces when requesting a quote. We can assess accessible areas and remove visible waste where practical without damaging landscaping. Some surfaces and heavy leaf cover make complete collection more difficult.
Our launch offering focuses on residential yards. If you manage an HOA, apartment community, or shared dog area, you may contact us to discuss the property; commercial service availability and pricing are not yet established.
Oak City Pooper Scoopers' advertised weekly cleanup starts at $20 per week or $87 per month for one or two dogs in a standard yard. Larger properties, special conditions, and additional dogs may require a different quote. See our pricing page for the current schedule.
Yes. Our standard base price covers one or two dogs. The additional-dog charge begins with the third dog.
For households with three or more dogs, each additional dog adds $4 to the weekly rate or $17 to the monthly rate, subject to the final property quote.
Yes. You can choose weekly payments or a flat monthly subscription. For a standard one- or two-dog recurring plan, the advertised choices are $20 per week or $87 per month.
Monthly subscriptions are billed on the 1st of each month. Weekly plans are billed weekly. Payment setup and any first-month proration will be confirmed when online subscriptions are activated.
A year has 52 weeks but only 12 months. We round weekly and monthly prices to simple whole-dollar amounts. That makes the annual totals slightly different: $1,040 when paying $20 for 52 weeks versus $1,044 when paying $87 for 12 months.
A standard initial cleanup is included at no extra charge when you enroll in recurring service. Heavily accumulated waste, unusually large yards, or difficult conditions may need a separate quote before work begins.
No long-term contract is required for our advertised recurring service. Specific cancellation timing, refunds, and service credits will be provided in the customer terms before you subscribe.
Contact us to request a pause or cancellation. The exact notice period, effective date, and treatment of prepaid visits will be set out in the customer terms before billing begins; we will not promise a refund policy that has not been finalized.
No. Waste haul-away is free with the advertised cleanup service. We scoop, bag, and take the waste with us.
One-time yard deodorizing is $25 per treatment. Recurring deodorizing costs $49/month with recurring service, $35/month with birecurring service, or $20/month with monthly service. Deodorizing is not a substitute for physically removing dog waste.
Usually not, provided we have confirmed your service appointment and have safe, authorized exterior access to every area being cleaned. We will ask about gates and other access details before the first visit.
Our planned field service days are Tuesday through Friday. Mondays are reserved for logistics and weather-related makeup visits. The specific day for your address depends on the neighborhood route and will be confirmed before service begins.
We group customers by neighborhood to reduce drive time. You can share scheduling constraints, but an exact arrival time is not guaranteed unless specifically confirmed.
Please arrange authorized access before your visit and tell us about any gate codes or special instructions through our secure customer communication process. If the yard cannot be accessed safely, the visit may need to be rescheduled.
For everyone's safety, we recommend keeping dogs inside or separated from the cleanup area during service, especially if a dog is anxious, territorial, or reactive. Any exception must be agreed to in advance.
We plan to offer service notifications as our customer system is connected and tested. Specific on-the-way texts, completion photos, and gate photos are not yet guaranteed features; we will confirm what is active before enrollment.
Make sure the agreed cleanup areas are accessible, secure pets as arranged, and remove obvious obstacles when practical. Keeping grass trimmed and heavy leaves cleared makes waste easier to spot.
Light rain may not prevent a cleanup, but thunderstorms, lightning, unsafe ground conditions, or other severe weather can delay service. We reserve Monday for makeup visits where feasible and will communicate schedule changes. The final missed-visit credit policy will be included in customer terms.
Our intended service is year-round recurring cleanup, not a seasonal leaf or lawn treatment. Extreme weather or unsafe conditions can still affect individual visits.
Tell us about the backlog when requesting a quote. Heavy accumulation may require an additional initial-cleanup charge or more time than a normal scheduled visit. We will review that before scheduling.
Preventing cross-property contamination is an important part of the service plan. We intend to use a documented cleaning and disinfection process for tools and footwear between properties; we'll confirm the operating procedure before accepting customers.
Our initial focus is Raleigh, Knightdale, and Wendell, North Carolina. We confirm each address based on ZIP code, safe access, and whether it fits an active neighborhood route.
Knightdale is one of our priority service areas. Request availability for your address before selecting a recurring plan.
Wendell is part of our initial service area. Recurring service depends on neighborhood route capacity and your exact address.
We plan to serve select North Raleigh neighborhoods as routes develop. Availability may differ between ZIP codes and streets, so we confirm the address before promising service.
We are planning routes for select East Raleigh and central Raleigh neighborhoods. Contact us with your ZIP code so we can check whether your address fits a current route.
You may ask us to check your address, but we cannot guarantee service outside our confirmed routes. Expanding service areas will depend on customer demand and efficient scheduling.
No. Dog feces are not a suitable lawn fertilizer. Unlike properly managed compost or manure, pet waste can contain pathogens and can contribute unwanted nutrients to the environment.
Regular pickup reduces accumulated waste in places where people and pets walk or play. Dog feces can contain bacteria and parasites, and runoff can carry waste into storm drains and waterways.
Rain does not make dog waste harmless. Rainwater can move fecal material and associated contaminants into soil, drainage systems, and nearby waterways. Collecting and disposing of waste is preferable to leaving it to wash away.
We aim to remove visible, accessible waste during the scheduled visit. No outdoor scooping service can guarantee that microscopic residue, buried material, or waste hidden under dense vegetation is eliminated.
Accumulated dog feces can contribute to unpleasant smells and attract insects. Weekly collection helps reduce buildup, while optional deodorizing may help with remaining odor in heavily used areas.
